Machined from 4140 steel with bearings and chevron packing. Rated for air or water with  rating of 350psi. Cross pin drive connection and set up for 1" 1/4 npt drill pipe and O.D. of 1 7/8.Water course of 1" 3/16. this swivel works well for a hydra drill upgrade or build your own rig. This is not throw away. It is rebuildable and has grease zerts .Chevron high pressure seals and packing.

Direct Hydraulic drive. Double bearing with chevron seals.
Weight rating of 5000lbs. Water course of 1 3/16".
Direct drive hydraulic swivel makes pipe breakout as easy as it gets.With direct drive it makes thing simple plus has direct torque power for hard rock. Handles  750 psi air or water. Hydraulic drive motor is 17.5 cu displacement.Your choice of lower pipe connections.

Magnum R-77 Swivel

Weight rating for the magnum swivel is 10,000lbs.
side water flow inlet is a massive 2 inches. This same swivel have been used on shallow oils wells at 1400ft.
The swivel alone with out drive motor is 93 lbs.This is not a toy.The pictur here shown is for you to see how it compares to the standard R-77 swivel. The direct drivel hydraulic motor for this swivel is 23cu spline drive for sure drive with no chance for key way shearing in rock drilling. This swivel has 4 bearings that make heavy everyday drilling a breeze. This is the daddy of drilling, and seperates the men from the boys.

As you can see the cheap swivels other companies  claim to be commercial, but look  to be home made (they are). Also the seals and packing blow out even though they use  low pressure china mud pumps.If you want to make money drilling you better upgrade away from this.This was a tradin after two 40ft wells were drilled. There is a reason for machined swivels and chevron seals. You get what you pay for. Weight bearing swivel are machined. Machine work is not cheap. Real swivels that work make you money by getting you in and out, done with the job.. cheap swivels leave you wishing, with broken off drill pipe in the hole. A rig with a cheap swivel is not a rig, its is a toy.

There are no short cuts on swivels, some people have tryed, but the water pressure and sand and grit can cut the seals out of a cheap swivel in just 1 hour or less. Of all the things your looking for in a drilling rig,  please do not skimp on spending money on the swivel, drill pipe or mud pump.. This is the single most important part.
