The most important part of any drilling rig is Swivel quality & weight rating, and drill pipe size. Even if your swivel in made by Nasa, if the water course flow size is small, you cant drill fast or deep. You have to have good water flow to drill easly. Small swivels and small drill pipe are not good. But larger swivels and larger drill pipe equals more money also. Don't buy a toy rig and expect to drill 300ft. If it seems to good to be true, it may be. |

Plumbing pipe is cheap, and tool joint pipe starts at 140.00 per 10ft joint. If you have toy pipe, you have a toy rig. |
