Code words of Drilling contractors.
One code phrase for getting scammed by drillers is.
We found water here BUT, It's not that good. We need to drill deeper. You ask.
How much deeper are you drilling to? This is a common practice among well drillers.
They give you a low ball price for minimum footage.. You think you got the best deal
in town, then comes the bait & switch. You thought you were getting a shallow, cheap
well, and now your close to hitting oil and the bill for drilling is almost twice or more
what you though you were going to pay. Most drillers will not stop in a shallow
formation because shallow wells don't pay motor home payments, DEEP WELLS pay,
and pay well.
Another common code word!
We guarantee Our work! Most states do not require drilling companies to hit water. If
a drilling company does not hit water, your out the cash and have a 11,000.00 or more
post hole, 400 ft deep. But the bright side is you payed another motorhome payment
for the drilling company owner and got him alittle closer to financial freedom. Also
remember you sometimes have to hire a 3000.00 lawyer to even get the guarantee to
court. Your choice is only who do you want to beat you, your lawyer or your driller.
Make sure you get references BEFORE JOB STARTS.
We do not know how much it will cost until we finish.
This what we call the drillers blank check. This just lets you know that the price they
gave you was just to get in the door. Once they start and you sign the contract you did
not even know it, but you just wrote a blank check, and they fill in the amount later.
How can companies tell you they drilled in your area for 20 years, and 90% success
rate, but when ask if what it cost, you only get a ball park figure, and they did not tell
you how large the ball park is.
Most drillers charge by the foot.
Thats why when they find water shallow, they keep going, and if they have to they will
just run blind casing below the shallow formation so they can get enough feet to make
a big check. Its funny for 220 years in the USA the only wells were hand dug wells.
Hand dug wells are from 10ft to 60 ft. No one died from shallow well water. But things
changed and we now have drilling contractors with payments on 150,000.00 equipment
notes. So shallow wells ,do not work well on paying off there big over heads.

This does not appy to all drillers, hopfully you are near quality drill
contractor.
