The answer to that question is easy, YOU DO. Thats why i sell THE simple EASY TO BUILD rig plans book .All portable rigs that are sold ,are just post hole digger conversion drills. None of the companies who sell these rigs make there own power head or gearbox. Anyone can buy a gas powered post hole digger anywhere new or used. When you buy a name brand of a portable drilling rig, your only buying a rig frame mast and two 8.00 wheels and a 12.00 china winch. They have special power words describing there product, but a mast frame only does one thing, it lets post hole digger up and down with a cheap hand powered china winch or a harborfreight.com 49.00 electric winch.

The only parts that are differant is the water swivel and drill pipe size and threads.If you get the troubleshooting guide it has tips and how to build your own drill pipe for 90 cents a foot, instead of paying 7.00 per foot plus shipping cost on 300 lbs of drill pipe. Swivels must have a large water course and pressure ratings. So far Unless someone tells me, i have not found one portable water well drilling rig company that tells you what water course there swivel is and what pressure ratings are.If there swivels are so great and powerful and better and higher flow, why not tell us what water course is and pressure ratings are. Water course and pressure ratings are the measuring stick on how to judge what a rig will drill to and how fast, plus the lower connection size lets you know what size drill pipe size it is....Drill pipe size determines what you can do. If someone is sell a rig that goes 300 ft they say, how can you drill 300 ft deep with plumbing pipe that was orignally designed to plumb a house with water not drill through rock,clay and sand with constant torque turning a large bit. Portable post hole conversion rigs can drill, just know that they are toys and how far they will go. My troubleshooting & drilling guide covers some of these facts and lies.
